Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse setting
- Execute precise inventory movement and stacking operations with zero-damage records
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock scheduling
- Maintain OSHA compliance through proper PPE usage and safety protocols
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and documentation
- Train new operators on warehouse safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with minimum 2 years experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (reach truck, order picker)
- Forklift Safety Training Program (FSTP) certification preferred
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Basic computer literacy with inventory management software experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screen required
