Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on innovation priorities
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry disruptors, academic partners, and thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development frameworks
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience developing scenario planning frameworks and strategic foresight models
- Strong track record of launching products based on future trend analysis
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFCS) highly desirable
