Responsibilities
- Execute daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies within our NYC distribution center
- Utilize WMS systems (Oracle/SAP) to maintain real-time stock accuracy
- Coordinate with procurement teams to optimize inventory turnover ratios
- Generate monthly inventory reports for executive leadership review
- Implement FIFO/FEFO protocols for perishable goods handling
- Train junior staff on inventory management best practices
- Conduct physical audits across 5 Manhattan warehouse locations
Qualifications
- 3+ years inventory management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (Oracle, SAP, or Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (99% inventory accuracy required)
