Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage inventory control systems and maintain accurate stock records
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely material availability
- Implement lean practices to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce waste
- Train and mentor junior material handlers on safety protocols
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support cycle counts and quarterly inventory audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/material handling experience
- OSHA forklift certification required
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license for equipment operation
