Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated material handling systems
- Manage inventory control processes including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional material flow between production, storage, and shipping
- Maintain detailed documentation of all material movements and inventory status
- Train junior staff on proper handling procedures and safety protocols
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of advanced material handling experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA Forklift Certification and advanced equipment operation skills
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong mathematical aptitude for inventory management
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and operate in temperature-controlled environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Minnesota driver's license required
