Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Manage inventory using WMS systems with 99.8% accuracy standards
- Coordinate cross-functional team movements for seamless material flow
- Implement OSHA-compliant safety protocols for all handling activities
- Optimize storage solutions to maximize warehouse space utilization
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outbound materials
- Maintain detailed documentation for all material movements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in high-volume material handling environments
- Certification in forklift operation (OSHA/Forklift License)
- Proficiency with WMS/RMS inventory management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work 8-12 hour shifts
- Strong problem-solving skills for logistics challenges
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
