Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated warehouse systems in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory control using RF scanners and WMS software with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for high-priority shipments and time-sensitive material movements
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain detailed documentation of material transactions and quality control protocols
- Train junior staff on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure seamless material flow
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in high-volume material handling or warehouse operations
- Certification in forklift operation and OSHA safety standards
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and RF technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
