Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for international and domestic freight
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, compliance certificates)
- Optimize carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms
- Resolve logistics disruptions and implement contingency plans
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for inventory allocation
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and CBP regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/freight coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms® 2020
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Experience with hazardous materials shipping protocols
