Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations across air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation compliance (customs, invoices, bills of lading)
- Optimize routes and negotiate carrier rates for cost efficiency
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates
- Resolve customs clearance issues and regulatory compliance challenges
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams on inventory allocation
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in logistics/supply chain
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Descartes)
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or equivalent knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience negotiating with international carriers
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
