Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end shipping operations including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier coordination
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs while ensuring on-time delivery
- Track and analyze shipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries with proactive communication
- Implement and maintain compliance with transportation regulations (DOT, IATA, etc.)
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management
- Develop and maintain relationships with key carriers and logistics partners
- Generate shipping reports and KPIs for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Certification in logistics/supply chain (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong negotiation abilities with carriers and vendors
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
