Key Responsibilities
- Define Technical Roadmaps: Lead the architectural vision for 2026, prioritizing long-term scalability and innovation over short-term fixes.
- System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Technology Selection: Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing interfaces, Edge Computing) to drive competitive advantage.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Crisis Management: Lead high-impact technical incidents and drive resolution strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Stack: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, and deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex architectural challenges in high-traffic environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term technical roadmap for the 2026 release cycle.
- Architect resilient, high-performance distributed systems using cloud-native technologies.
- Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, including AI/ML integration and Edge computing.
- Mentor engineering teams and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with product management to define technical feasibility and scope.
- Drive architectural decisions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and system architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
