Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.8% accuracy using WMS technology
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of 50+ daily shipments
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse layout and reduce processing time
- Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Lead training sessions for new associates on equipment operation and procedures
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience in high-volume environments
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience leading teams of 5+ associates
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
