Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates
- Resolve logistics discrepancies and carrier issues swiftly
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and transit times
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics coordination role
- Proficient with TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with LTL/FTL carrier negotiations
