Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping operations including order processing, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse-to-transport workflows
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Negotiate rates and contracts with freight carriers
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations (ITAR, customs)
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations
- Excel expertise with data visualization skills
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
