Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Optimize routing schedules to minimize transit times and costs
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit exceptions proactively
- Liaise with warehouse teams, carriers, and clients for seamless delivery coordination
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping processes
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking and shipment records
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Valid Michigan driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
