Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments using TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Descartes)
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance records
- Optimize routing for cost/time efficiency while maintaining 99% on-time delivery
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and customs brokers for smooth transit
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate cycle counts
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries within 24 hours
- Generate performance reports for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight coordination or supply chain operations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, hazardous materials regulations, and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and clean MVR record
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work flexible shifts including weekends
- Associate degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent experience
