Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and modes
- Manage documentation including Bills of Lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve transportation issues and mitigate delays through carrier relationships
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to optimize loading schedules
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs clearance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional early/late shifts
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with LTL, FTL, and ocean/air freight preferred
