Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and resolve shipping discrepancies
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Track shipments proactively and communicate status updates to stakeholders
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Train staff on shipping protocols and system usage
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination or logistics experience
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
