We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage end-to-end shipping processes, coordinate with carriers, and optimize our logistics network. This hybrid role combines hands-on warehouse coordination with digital inventory management, perfect for someone passionate about operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation compliance and customs clearance
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate carrier contracts to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive status updates
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of freight
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
- Generate monthly shipping reports and KPI analysis for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle Transportation, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Familiarity with LTL, FTL, and air freight processes
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
