Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
- Manage documentation including customs forms, bills of lading, and tracking systems
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and delivery times
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries in real-time
- Maintain inventory tracking systems for shipping materials and supplies
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Generate monthly shipping reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Valid Illinois driver's license (may require occasional site visits)
