Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules and optimize freight routes for 50+ daily shipments
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Liaise with carriers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve transit delays
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Collaborate with warehouse team to prioritize order fulfillment and dock scheduling
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce shipping costs by 15% annually
- Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficient in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping KPIs and performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied warehouse environments
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- Spanish bilingual skills a significant plus for regional operations
