Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and inventory levels within the ERP system.
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight trucks when necessary.
- Conduct daily quality checks on incoming and outgoing cargo.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must) and logistics software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
