Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers using TMS platforms
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile shipping documentation with ERP systems
- Resolve customs clearance issues and maintain compliance with trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and reduce transit times
- Track shipments proactively and provide real-time updates to key stakeholders
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Build relationships with freight forwarders and negotiate carrier contracts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle Transportation, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to resolve transit delays
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated accuracy in documentation and data management
- Supply chain certification (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
