Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including carrier selection, documentation, and customs clearance
- Track shipments in real-time using WMS/TMS systems and provide proactive status updates to clients
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent delays
- Optimize load planning to maximize freight efficiency and minimize costs
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory management
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Generate weekly shipping reports and KPI analysis for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight coordination, logistics, or supply chain management
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, L/C documentation, and customs procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex shipping issues
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with carriers, clients, and internal teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
- Relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CTL) preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US
