Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit delays or discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory and packaging standards
- Maintain real-time shipment visibility through logistics software and reporting systems
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate rates with freight carriers
- Act as primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status and inquiries
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, hazardous materials handling, and trade compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping coordination
- Proficiency with shipping management software (e.g., Oracle TMS, SAP, or Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and carrier interactions
- Proven ability to analyze shipping data and optimize logistics processes
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
