Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities, including order processing, carrier selection, and documentation
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software (e.g., TMS/WMS systems)
- Resolve transportation discrepancies and communicate delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams for integrated logistics planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and international shipping protocols
- Analyze shipping data to optimize routes and reduce transportation costs
- Manage customs brokerage for international shipments and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or TMS platforms)
- Strong knowledge of freight classes, Incoterms, and carrier negotiations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid Texas driver's license (preferred)
- Associates degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (required)
