Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules and carrier logistics to ensure on-time deliveries
- Manage inventory documentation including BOLs, packing slips, and customs forms
- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, palletizing, and loading procedures
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to align shipping priorities
- Track shipments proactively and resolve delivery exceptions
- Maintain accurate shipping records in WMS systems
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in warehouse environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred
