Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, carrier selection, and freight tracking
- Manage inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Collaborate with customs brokers and international partners for seamless cross-border shipments
- Implement cost-effective shipping strategies while maintaining compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Oversee transportation scheduling and optimize routing for maximum efficiency
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and proactively address logistical challenges
- Generate performance reports and analyze shipping metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite
