Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple transportation modes (truck, rail, air)
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, manifests)
- Optimize load planning and route efficiency for cost savings
- Resolve shipping discrepancies through proactive vendor communication
- Maintain real-time shipment tracking and status reporting
- Collaborate with warehouse teams on inventory allocation
- Analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in freight/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMC regulations
- Excel expertise with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- High school diploma; Supply Chain certification preferred
