Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and delivery logs.
- Monitor shipping costs and negotiate rates with carriers when possible.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
