Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and freight tracking
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate rates with carriers
- Manage customs clearance documentation for international shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory allocation
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide real-time shipment updates to stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FDA, and international trade regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in shipping software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export/import regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
