Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, air freight)
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, compliance records
- Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize transit times and costs
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve delivery exceptions proactively
- Liaise with warehouse teams for accurate inventory allocation
- Maintain client communication through shipment status updates
- Implement continuous improvements in shipping workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics coordination or related role
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred (border commerce context)
- Valid Texas driver's license (required for occasional site visits)
