Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across air, rail, and trucking channels
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) with 99% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve shipping delays and exceptions through carrier negotiations
- Optimize freight routes to reduce costs while meeting delivery SLAs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams on loading/unloading schedules
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and export regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Blue Yonder)
- Certification in Logistics (CSCP, CLTD) or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs procedures
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Forklift certification preferred
