Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, tracking all documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Optimize freight routes using TMS software to minimize costs and transit times
- Manage inventory reconciliation and warehouse stock rotation
- Liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues
- Implement safety protocols for hazardous materials handling (DOT/Hazmat compliance)
- Analyze shipping KPIs to identify process improvement opportunities
- Maintain real-time shipment visibility via ERP/WMS systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- DOT Hazmat certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field required
