Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions for delayed/damaged shipments
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs while maintaining delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation in ERP systems
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, warehousing, or transportation coordination
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling knowledge preferred
