Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate warehouse records using WMS systems
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies proactively
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Manage transportation budgets and negotiate contracts with freight providers
- Train and mentor junior staff on shipping protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping data and metrics
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping documentation
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
