Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping schedules via truck, rail, and air freight
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software (e.g., TMS/WMS systems)
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate delays to stakeholders
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams
- Negotiate rates with carriers and optimize shipping routes
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency with logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Forklift certification preferred
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field
