Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation compliance and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier contracts to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve delivery disruptions proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory allocation
- Manage transportation budgets and provide cost-saving recommendations
- Maintain client relationships through timely communication and shipment updates
- Implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) preferred
- Deep knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
