Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier negotiations
- Track inventory levels and manage warehouse operations to optimize storage and distribution
- Collaborate with sales teams to schedule pickups and deliveries while maintaining client relationships
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS systems and generate monthly performance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP software
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LTL/FTL shipping, and customs documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to resolve shipment delays efficiently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (may require occasional site visits)
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
