Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across truck, rail, and air freight
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, manifests) with 99% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Negotiate rates with carriers to maintain cost-efficient logistics
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Generate weekly shipment reports and performance analytics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and customs procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- OSHA Hazmat certification preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
