Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Track and optimize freight movement using TMS platforms like Oracle Transportation Management
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of containers
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and ocean/air carriers
- Comply with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in logistics or supply chain
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Manhattan, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Relevant certifications (CSCP, CLTD, or CITT) preferred
- Experience with LCL/FCL consolidation and drayage operations
