Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Manage inventory control and warehouse operations to optimize stock levels
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Track shipments using WMS/TMS systems and provide real-time status updates
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams on special project shipments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Certified Customs Broker or CSCP designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
