Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Manage inventory control systems to track shipments and resolve discrepancies
- Liaise with clients, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time deliveries
- Optimize routing and freight costs while maintaining service quality standards
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Train staff on shipping protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and Microsoft Excel
- Certification in logistics (CSCP, CLTD) or supply chain management preferred
- Deep knowledge of FOB, Incoterms, and multi-modal transportation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments during peak seasons
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with hazmat or temperature-sensitive cargo handling
