- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including carrier selection, documentation, and tracking
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates to minimize transportation costs
- Manage inventory levels and implement cycle counting procedures
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and finance teams to align shipping schedules
- Utilize TMS/WMS systems to maintain accurate shipment records and data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- Proven track record of reducing shipping costs by 15%+
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
