Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation.
- Communicate effectively with freight carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Monitor shipment status and track inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Assist in optimizing shipping routes and carrier selection to reduce costs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
