As a Shipping Coordinator, you'll be the central point of contact for carriers, warehouse teams, and clients, ensuring seamless delivery of high-value shipments. You'll leverage cutting-edge logistics software to optimize routes, track shipments in real-time, and resolve any logistical challenges proactively.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage order processing, documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices), and compliance
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and delivery times
- Track shipments using WMS/TMS systems and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and carrier issues with urgency
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for timely pick-up/delivery scheduling
- Prepare monthly shipping reports and KPI analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination or related role
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and carrier contracts
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with meticulous documentation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience preferred
