Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding shipping status and delays.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL), commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and manage claims processes efficiently.
- Optimize shipping routes and carriers to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of shipping laws, regulations, and documentation.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
