Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, such as bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records in our ERP system and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor shipping costs and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers.
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding shipment status and delivery times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
