Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and inventory movements in our ERP system.
- Analyze shipping costs and negotiate rates with carriers to optimize budget efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all international trade laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and import/export procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
