Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve logistics issues.
- Track shipment status in real-time and proactively address delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping logs, inventory movement, and delivery reports.
- Assist in the optimization of shipping routes and carrier selection to reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency with logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
